The Fens.

Hate the place, damp, wide open place with very few trees and as flat as a pan cake, its full of Dykes (ditches as some would know them) and spiteful inbreds.

Dont even like driving through

Dundee, Scotland. Apparently it's got better since I last visited over a decade ago, I'm not taking any chances though.

Los Angeles, where people are willing to commute 2-3 hours each way just to live next what used to be the most beautiful beach in the world.

Redditch, Worcestershire. Used to have relatives there. A picture postcard featuring its bus station was once selected as Britain's most boring postcard. It's the kind of place that, when the locals insist it's not boring and start to list all the interesting attractions, you realise all of them are actually outside of the town itself (in the surrounding countryside, which is quite nice).

Auckland, New Zealand.

Nothing wrong with it if you're a big city person. And not even a big city by other countries standards, but far too dang big for me.

I'm just a provincial girl at heart.

I'm from Warwickshire (UK).....but, I wouldn't live in most parts of the UK if someone paid me today!

There are so many better places to live in the World for so many people in this business that most of us should look at living somewhere else IMHO!

I'm proud of where I was born.....I just don't think I want to live there today! Things change, both the character of the place and the character of the individual!

I still like to visit my old stomping grounds (nostalga) for a few days......but, I have no desire to live there anymore :)

Have to agree with Deejay about Auckland. I couldn't face it these days.
