1. Fast. (a few seconds to acquire greyscale image).
2. Reliable.
3. At least of average or better optic quality for grayscale documents and/or low quality photos.
4. Less expensive is better :)
I have like a thousand+ pages to scan mostly b/w with perhaps a low quality color photo thrown in here and there. I don't want to outsource.
I currently have a scanner as part of my all-in-1 HP, but it's very slow 15-20 seconds per page.
I'm hoping to find something that will just take a few seconds to acquire the image (like a copy machine copies) and then just a couple more seconds to save, where I can bust out 15-20pgs+/minute.
