Cheap countrys to have working holiday.

Ok guys I had a thread about thailand before which proved interesting reading.

Im interested to know about cheap pleace to have a working holiday. Just take the laptop out there for couple of months and have internet access.

I shall start this off then.

1. Prague
2. Beer about 40p pint (Depends where you go)
3. Macdonalds about £1.50 meal
3. Hotel standard 2*/3* around £18 per room per night.

Anywhere in Turkey. Eat well and party for £200 a week for two...

Too many fishing boats in Malta and not enough of anything else anymore....sunny though.

Mexico:
-Beer less than a dollar
-McDonald's/Burger King meal 3-6 dollars
-Very, very cheap transport (metro ticket .20 cents, bus ride .25 cents)
-Nice people

I'm not sure McDonalds or Burger King really counts as food, does it? ;)

Think you're right davec. Real food is often cheaper than junk food here.

No its not real food in that sense but I read somewhere before that you can generally judge how cheap/expensive a city etc is based on the price of its macdonalds.
