You know the ones.. every now and then something really obscure gets posted around here that just doesn't fit. Seriously, how did they ever find their way to WebmasterWorld? Some of them are good for a read or maybe to provoke a thought. Most often they get at least one two quirky responses before disappearing.. and probably just as often the response is slightly disparaging. It seems to be all in good fun.

Do those really get sent to the bit bucket, or is there some secret forum where they are collected? It's hard to believe that some of those gems, and some of them must be really good, are lost forever.

There was a while when the forum name showed up in the Active Threads lists for 'removed' threads. Maybe Brett will sort you out a 'special' subscription rate for access to the forum.

Think of them as missing sox. They just go somewhere. No one really knows where or how . . . except the sox monster.

the sox monster

Man does he get around!

If you were to pile up all of the missing sox in the World, I wonder how high the pile would be?

two quirky responses before disappearing

Some say that there's place, but no man has ever before seen it. I nearly saw it in a vision once, but there were too many sox obscuring the view to get a decent glimpse...
