What are your thoughts

Patients are set to be able to look at their medical records on their home computer, it has been announced.

People will receive letters telling them data including medications will be uploaded unless they object.

The above from the BBC concerns the UK. But what are your thoughts on this. With all the hacks, security problems etc a lot of people may not be too keen having confidential information available online.

They should be realistic about the whole thing and make the data available as a Wiki ;-).

It is a good thing......sure security is an issue. But, I feel secure in my online banking, so why couldn't feel equally secure with online health records?

It has to be implemented correctly.......if done so the upside is huge!
