He was amazed (to the point he thought I was bordering on mad) that I'm looking to get an Ultima GTR. I understand it's not particularly practical, but it's not like I have to commute in it, and (thank god) no kids to shift around. Also my current car is a VX220 so that's not exactly the epitomy of practicality itself.
Anyway I was just thinking, what does everyone here drive and why?
Recently Test Driven? 2007 Lotus Exige
What did you think of it?
It was an amazing experience. Just imagine a supercharged 220HP 1.8 sitting midships in an automobile that weighs in just over 2,000 pounds. 0-60 in 4.1 seconds! Almost like driving a motorcyle with 4 wheels. Sounds like a Ferrari and moves a bit faster than most. If you are 6.0' or over, you may not fit in the "cockpit".
I'm holding off though. I'm waiting for Chrysler to announce production of the Firepower, one of my favorite concept cars.
WHAT: CLS550 Coupe
WHY: test drive it ya'll know
Calling a four door car a coupe is stretching it, but if you buy into the marketing, I guess it's ok. :)
The only MB I test drove had an AMG badge on it. Promised myself then that if I ever bought a MB, it would have to be AMG. I guess I'll never know what's so great about the CLS 550 Coupe. :(
