Does anybody know what the technology is called that is used on lottory tickets where as you scratch the silver service with a coin and reveal the answer etc.

We do the same thing on some of our mailers...
it's a form of latex applied after the printer is done with the medium....most printers don't do it themselves...the medium normally has to ship to "somebody" that does the process...
