How many times is it possible to check this

I just read, that a girl friended stated, Robbie was addicted to check his position in the hitparade.

But how often do they change? How often is it possible to check this?

I think much less, than our hourly I have to check my AdSense stats problem :)

The fascinating is, that I thought this stars have a so complete different live.

But now it seems he creates a song and checks always positions,
while I write new web pages and check always positions.

I am not sure I would believe everything that my girlfriend may tell you.....

that must be 1000 fold for any of Robbie's.

I do not understand checking the stats so frequently of something you actually have so very little control over.

Or not from the UK (I'd say Robbie Williams and bands like Take That are big enough for most UK'er to know of).

I'm not sure why it would be surprising for celebrities to have similar traits to the general public though (at the end of the day stuff like pride, greed and vanity runs through most of us regardless of whether you're famous or not).

I guess you would create a "Robbie Williams" website. If you put the "billboard results" on it, the amount of times he checks it will make your CPM dollars just grow an grow... an stuff...

No, he'd bookmark the billboard results after a couple dozen visits. That's the problem with Adsense on sites that get repeat visitors, like forums or newspapers. A lot of ad blindness or lack of new ads.

Since this is now a foo thread, I feel sorry for Robbie now he's checked himself into an addicts clinic for taking too much pain killers etc etc.

I do think its the same as a webmaster checking his rankings or his adsense as robbie and do the same as a website ie. touring, gigs etc websites do new pages get new links etc :)

Dont feel old dollarshort, Robbie Williams cant draw flies in North America. He has made several attempts to make it on this side of the pond all to no avail. He has been around for quite some time now.

Apparently (according to Guardian newspaper) he drinks 36 double espresso's a day...

He has no real records out at the mo - but hey - if you've signed a deal for £70m just to release 5 albums in 5 years - hell I'd sit looking at stats all day and drinking coffee too...:)
