I have a friend (yes it really is a friend)
and somebody keeps posting there personal information into chat rooms etc with the email address.

He is none to happy is there anything you can advise him todo!

He has reported it to the chatroom but they have done nothing.

Your should friend immediately

Get a new identity

Move to a new address

Get a new phone number

Get a new email address

Protect it all better

Some of that isn't even practical. But, besides all that what else can be done? If it has reached a point of becoming a legal issue obviously your friend should contact an appropriate authority.

Most of them are of course not an option.

It was mainly todo with Whois - I have since opted him out.
