I was hunting for interesting RSS feeds to add to my reader ( I only have 7, 2 are from the BBC and 1 from here - suggestions welcome!) and did a google search on the WebmasterWorld domain. Not only did I not find any new feeds to check out, but the results included a Google Ad for eBay selling "Best Feeds" - i know it's a lame search phrase I was building it up!
Anyway - that eBay ad CLEARLY wouldn't be selling what I was after (and if it were I wouldn't pay for it) and my annoyance level with eBay ads reached a certain point on that particular page. So I wanted to know what happens if I clicked it 100 times just to let them know how annoyed I was! (I normally don't click ads - as I always think of poor moms and pops selling off property to raise just a bit more adwords cash in the hopes of making their site a success).
(Im not familiar with Adwords and Adsense apart from what i've read here - and eBay ads!)
I know i've read threads here were some people think its wrong to click multiple times as it lowers cash available for that account and some could see it as theft etc but also surely google recognise the clicks and disregard them right?
If not - if every person here clicked all eBay ads when they saw them - is it possible to use up all the advertising cash?
I don't dislike eBay as a rule - but I don't like seeing the blanket ads from them as its a bit too... not sure what the word I want is.... BIG for my liking.
Just ponderings/rantings at a virtual water cooler...

No. In fact, all it would probably do is cost me more to post auctions when they raise their fees, AGAIN, next quarter. :o(
Did pounding away at their ads make you feel any better about their presence?
