I just want to know if any of the Foo autophiles has already ordered the self-parking car. This is surely a sign that I'm being left behind in the age of technology. My old Dodge will NEVER learn to park itself - or more accurately, it's parked where it stops.

It looks like Volvo, BMW and Lexus are offering this product. How new is this in the consumer market? For a bonus, when was this ever discussed in Foo?

Want to know what I'm talking about? Search your favorite video site for 'self parking car' :-)

I'll pass, until they make one that parks a car like 'Russ Swift'. Same fav vid site.

I think self parking is fairly new (about a year or so) option for new cars.

I refuse to buy car with automatic trany, so this can give a hint how much I care for self parking feature (I bought BMW X5 couple of years ago and had to look really hard to find one with manual trany)

it's an odd one this self parking thing, frankly i don't think anyone who can't park without batting an eyelid is fit to drive, so i don't see the point of it.

Wait a bit until they make cars who can find their own free parking space! That would be handy.
