I don't want to start trouble, maybe I'm just being silly but I have nothing better to do right at this moment and just noticed it while looking at his profile :) (assuming male because of "guy") I guess I'm just curious to know more about GoogleGuy and if Sergey or Larry would ever post here...

I noticed that comment, too. Either Googleguy is someone at, or near, the top at Google, or an intern with delusions of grandeur.
I also thought the writing style seemed very consistent, like the posts were all from the same person.

I take it from your statement way up the top of this thread, that you have some tangible evidence that googleguy does actually work for google in some capacity and isnt just some guy messing with our heads?
Could you elaborate on what kind of proof youve seen (ie would an email from name@google.com be enough to constitute "proof")?

The choice of words GG has used here, IMO are calculated and purposefully hinting to his identity. Be mature and professional about it and respect his concerns for remaining (at least partially) anonymous.

1) I am sure he logs ips and can see a google ip logged in most of the time when googleguy posts.
This is easy to do and I would be shocked if brett hadn't done this.
2) Googleguy on several occasions has mentioned stuff only an inside would know - that later came true - such as the smiley face toolbar and anti pop up message.
Fair enough, Im willing to concede to that point! :)
But I would like to see some evidence, you know like changing water into wine, walking on water, etc.....

More guys from Google know this page? So the info he gives us must be approved by a highranking Google employee, or GoogleGuy himself is rather highranking...
I guess he is one of the 50 PhDs they have...
Or is he one of the Google founders?
