Very sad and melancholic. It's tough to be the last surviving member of a "family" which a lot of the groups of the 60's and 70's were kind of similar to. Friendships and relationships among the Hollywood folk crowd - and related by industry type crowds - had a unique flavor and special kind of connectedness during the 70's (and very late 60's), that's hard to describe or imagine without having seen it happen.
