winDVD problems

I have downloaded a film (4.7gb)

Ok then i put it through

PAR

then

RAR

which resulted in me having

BUP & VOB files.

I then try to open it in winDVD and all i get is a black screen with lots of sound!

This also happens to videos i know have worked before and winDVD is not showing the graphics.

Any suggestions guys?
