I'm getting reports from clients (and seeing it myself) that suddenly lots of emails either are taking 12 - 24 hours to arrive, or not arriving at all.

An ISP just informed me that they are seeing recent increase in the amount of spam - sufficient to be causing significant problems with their servers.

Another place (where I have my DNS) is telling me about DOS attacks on the rise.

Is this just me or are others having the same problems and hearing the same reports?

Email's working perfectly fine for me :)

I would give it a day or two to see if it resolves.

Yes, we use Comcast and our emails via their server have been much delayed. I'd say 2 hours on average, sometimes more. I have a yahoo web email account as well and it has been much faster.

We're getting ready to dump Comcast as or ISP anyway, so we have not bothered to check it out.

Have you implemented SPF for your clients domains? More spam filters are using it lately and it could be the cause of the delays and disappearing emails.
