Just saw a television promotion for a program to premiere on US cable tv tonight. In the promo, it refers to a case in which the husband is convicted of murdering his wife in part using evidence detailing his previous google searches. Should be interesting.

yp, that's why I use a program to wipe my computer each time I kill someone. :) Of course the ISP and Google still might have the records, but at least I am making it a bit harder for them.

And, yes, slowly we are reaching a scary point where evrything we say and do will be monitored.

Well, that is exactly what you WANT the authorities to be able to do in the case of a murder!
I can think of many instances where the technology is used for very nefarious, self-serving purposes, which is what we oppose!
