the world’s first long-haul budget carrier have taken off.

[news.bbc.co.uk...]
[travel.guardian.co.uk...]

If successful, it could shake up the airline industry worldwide and have a dramatic impact on tourism and commerce.

What is interesting is that the airline is majority-owned by a Pastor, Pastor, Rev. Raymond C. Lee who firmly believes that he has a mission from God to make travel accross continents cheaper and more readily available. He stated that the company will be run according to Biblical principles.

I expect the trolley dollies will be nuns and the instructions in the event of an accident will be "put your hands together like this, get on your knees and pray".

The in-flight entertainment will probably be a choice of loud sermons from the rev Ian Paisley.

Tickets will be free but there will be a collection box at the rear of the plane.

Be VERY worried if the first plane is christened "The Ark" and the inaugural flight is couples only.
