At the price of HDs these days, anyone can afford to become a data centre. But not anyone can afford the security protection, both technical and informational.

considering the current size weight and price of 250GB HD's ..you can take it with you in your own pocket ..and they are getting bigger and lighter and cheaper all the time

security begins at home...

In which case the only way someone will get at my data is over my cold dead body ..in which case it will no longer matter to me ..and "they" will have to be very very big and fast and quite heavily armed and trained / or determined ;-))..

cos after me there is my kid ( grown big now ) and my wife ( hell in pumps ..or size 37 french european engineers boots ..matrix is one of her fav movies )..and they dont like to be messed with either ..
