BitTorrent announced agreements with Asian hardware makers including ASUS, Planex, and QNAP, makers of routers and servers. Under the deal terms, the companies will include BitTorrent's software in several of their new products—considerably reducing how long it takes to download files using BitTorrent's method. Earlier this year, BitTorrent reached an agreement that lets Warner Bros. distribute its shows and movies using BitTorrent's file-sharing technology. And more deals are on the way—some 20 in all, half of them with big players and the rest with smaller, indie studios.

I can only quote from a comment by another poster on the site which the linked article comes from
I've never read any article so poorly researched or misleading on this site, and the only reason I'm here is because when I saw it quoted, I refused to believe it came from BusinessWeek.com. I almost didn't bother to click the BW.com link, so sure was I that this was apocryphal nonsense. Please, please review this article with somebody who understands the issues "covered" herein; it's an embarrassment to us all - especially those of us who are software developers and have recommended you to colleagues.

the posters name is Ed ..

I agree totally with Ed ( I dont "dev" soft ware ..more "diss" it sometimes ..but the article writer is an ill informed excuse for a journalist ..) and with this BW has lost any remaining cred it may have had with the international IT community ...
