You know what. I used to live in Cornwall. We had a great chap write, develope and SEO our site for our commerce. Got us in number one position for all our keywords etc, etc in a very competitive market. Eventually he gave up working for himself and went to work for someone else for a pittance - around this £20K figure. I asked him why? He said he needed the stability of a regular income. IT v. competitive in SW UK - difficult to get into. blah, blah, blah.

Gutted - he is so talented, and it is all going to waste - I've tried to get him on board, but to no avail. Some people have the talent and ability but do not have the where withall to use it, set up their own business etc. Its sooooo frustrating.

I still live there in the summer, but happily the joys of being self employed mean I can live in Spain in the winter.
