I must've been sleeping for a couple of years. In thread [webmasterworld.com...] it was talking about broadcast.com being bought for $6 billion. What was it and was it really worth it?

Nope, but Yahoo paid with stock and Yahoo was worth like a $gazillion. Cuban was smart enough to sell most (or enough) of the Y! stock and is now a billionaire.

Pretty much.

Kind of funny because some low level radio people in Dallas actually managed to get stock in the company early on and made a killing. Basically they just streamed radio stations, sporting events etc over the net.

Not sure what remnants of it today exist within Yahoo! today.
