I downloaded UltraMon and loved it...but 30 days later and I dont want to shell out $35 for it. Is there anything FREE out there that you guys use?

nVidia's nView works great ... is free ... does all the same stuff (and a little more) that UltraMon does.

You just need an nVidia card to use it :)

[nvidia.com...]

Or, simply install the most recent driver for your card. It typically comes with nView.

Here's another discussion on the subject. I thought that the video card company (mine is ATI) should provide better free support of multiple monitors.

My demands are limited. A free or very cheap utility should achieve my goal. But I haven't found one.

Went to ATI's site and discovered that they offer a free multi-monitor utility called Hydra which is available in regular and lite versions.

I presume that it only works with ATI cards.
