The NFL Game Pass service will be available through Yahoo Inc. for $25 a week or $250 for the 17-week regular season.

Yahoo will block access to the games from computers in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Bahamas, Bermuda and Antigua because the service would conflict with existing broadcast rights. Individual games will also be blocked from certain countries when a broadcaster has rights there, said Brian Rolapp, the league's vice president for media strategy. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

I suppose, but wouldn't it be cheaper to get cable? In any case, I would've subscribed when I was overseas-definitely.

We can't get any of the games on cable here (time warner). Only dish carries it, and that is $280 + installation and equipment.

Ouch!

All my Seahawks games are broadcast on FOX, which is part of basic cable here. Sounds like proxy time for you! I wonder what the quality is like?

Only in the Seattle NFL markets. If I am - say a Broncos fan living in Texas - I can only get the crumbs they throw me on selected national games. Other wise, I can get all the cowboys and houston games I can tolerate.

Course - if the Longhorns would have won on saturday - I doubt I would be worrying so much about the broncos. lol
