I have a different version from this one - on mine you plug one box into the monitor out of you laptop - and it beams pictures to your tv.
On the one I have you can also use the tv as a second monitor (as well as duplicating whats on your desktop to the tv - really only worthwhile if you have a HDD tv).
The big minus is that mine has its own power supply that has to be plugged in (which defeats the point of a tablet/notebook in my opionion). I'm postive that the product above will also have its own power supply.
P.S. If you find a better solution please let me know!
There's so many wires/power supply to it that I keep it attached to my desktop instead. I can log into the desktop from my tablet (remote log-in software) and do things - but its not an elegant solution particularly as the refresh rate of wi-fi networks can't stream video to my tablet fast enough - so its hard to see what I'm doing (though I can look at the tv)!

How about MediaMVP by Hauppauge (wireless version):
Wireless MediaMVP® is the link between your TV and your PC, allowing you to watch and listen to PC based music, videos, digital pictures and Internet radio on your TV set. wMVP (as it is also called) works with either wireless 802.11G or wired 10/100 Mbit Ethernet networks. You can use up to 24 wired MediaMVPs on a home network, or up to four wireless MediaMVPs. Listen to PC music on one TV set while watching an MPEG movie on another!
From what I can see, its one of those products that several manufacturers sell - they just rebrand it (not sure who actually makes it).
It's works great - but requires its own power supply which is annoying (both parts). If anyone knows of a smaller one please let me know!
I guess the problem lies with it having to attach to the video out - unlike usb devices no power is provided to this port.
