When I wanted to look up this movie, I initially used "", thinking lady and water were both too common to allow for any useful results; Google found 121,000 pages, headed by a bunch of useful and informative stuff, but not all the relevant pages from the 'big' movie sites.

But searching without "", though it produced almost 75m results, did find almost all the key movie sites relevant to the query.

I'm impressed!

The movie took a severe drubbing here in the UK, and only score 24% on the Tomatometer. just shows that film critics have no imagination and no sense of humor.

M. Night Shyamalan usually produces po-faced suspense, so one with a bit of self mockery went whooosh! in a big way.

I reckon this one ranks with Edward Scissorhands and Donny Darko in terms of weird charm and fun - but I bet those movies had no problems with SEO!

I don't see any SEO problem. "Lady in the Water" works fine for me with or without quotes. But the movie didn't work for me. After Sixth Sense and Unbreakable, we want serious suspense. :)
