Personally I think Hollywood has run out of ideas, evidenced by the cheap rehash of even more trivial television series'. Brady Bunch, Dukes of Spazzard, Bewitched (which was almost amusing as a movie,) the Honeymooners, the Shaggy Dog, all of them regurgitations of poorly digested television bubble gum. The most entertaining part of it is comparing how badly they've revived it.
I can't wait to see what they do with Mr. Ed when they get around to it. :-)
It's been described as a movie for people into experimental movies who also like action flicks, and vice-versa. It's not supposed to be mindless or silly like Mission Impossible.
I haven't seen it yet, so I can't vouch for it, but I'm going to try to see it soon.
It wasn't anywhere near as stylish as I'd expected it to have been.
It started okay, but quickly become a bit flat.
So long as you don't expect to much from it, you'll probably enjoy it.
The same day that I saw it I went back and watched an an episode of the old Miami Vice (first time I've seen it in years) - it had Bruce Willis in it playing the baddie.
It had a much better story than the film, and managed to come across as quite stylish!
I thought the film would be more like Leathal Weapon movies - or even bad boys - but there wasn't a drop of humour/fun to be found.

Great visuals, graphics etc but as for a movie it was very similar to Bad Boys just without any laughs. Way too serious and intensely predictable / unrealistic etc.
I also find that many movie reviews are apalling. I love Pirates of the Caribean but when that came out most reviews were very negative. I do not read the reviews any more.
