Maybe I'm turning into a grumpy old man at the ripe old age of 30, but I saw a trailer for a film called "Snakes on a plane" and kind of gave up on mankind a little bit more. Am I overreacting?

News story from the BBC [news.bbc.co.uk].

Snakes released at US screening

Practical jokers released two rattlesnakes at a US movie theatre during a showing of new film Snakes on a Plane, the cinema chain has said.

Now, colour me cynical...

Saw it last night. Totally met expectations. One of the dumbest films I've seen in a long time ... which made it one of the funniest. There were some great one-liners.

It's supposed to be making fun of itself and the 80s-type genre - and it does! Saw it opening night and it was a hoot.

Don't be shy, and give it try. Laughs are good for the soul :-)

Lighten up, folks! Not every movie has to be War and Peace!

The movie looks good because it makes no pretension of being serious. If it's half as funny as Leslie Nielson in Airplane! I would be satisfied.

Like the movie or not, it has a lot to offer, for those who have any interest in viral marketing.
