Snakes + Plane = Internet Success

Have not seen the movie yet.

Anyways, this is going to be one of those internet milestones. A low budget, likely stupid but very funny movie has been an internet sensation over the last year. With tonnes of blogs and message boards buzzing with free hype.

Has anyone on WebmasterWorld seen the movie yet? What is your opinion of the movie? Any comment on this form of viril advertising.

I have not seen and don't plan to until it hits HBO. But I think it was really effective marketing for a film. No such thing as bad publicity, right?

I saw this one last night.. if you are expecting nothing more than a rediculous and at times gory action film, it's pretty good.

There were a couple of laugh out loud moments, like when Sam L. grabs his first snake and flings it away like it's nothing.. and when the lights in the plane go out and someone in the back of the plane is just about heard shouting "It's the snakes!"

It doesn't take itself seriously, which made it fun to watch.
