I Need An Appointment System

to better track my meetings

Not sure if this belongs here, but it has to do with database, so here it goes.

I need some kind of appointment system, where I can track better my meetings and so on.
I know this kind of systems exist, just never found one.

Basically, what I need is this:
- Secure log in (so people can’t steal my data)
- Some kind of calendar so I can visually see who I have to meet and when.
- Some kind of profile for each person I can meet
- Some kind of search so I can see when I did what, or who is who.

The system doesn’t have to be on the net or anything, it could even be some access forms or whatever, just can’t find any.

So do you guys know of anything that could so what I described?
I’m a programmer, so figured I should ask before spending one month to build it.

what about using the outlook calander.

Basically, what I need is this:
- Secure log in (so people can’t steal my data)
You log on to your pc, i assume it is password protected

- Some kind of calendar so I can visually see who I have to meet and when.
It's got that

- Some kind of profile for each person I can meet
You have a contacts section which you can add further information.

- Some kind of search so I can see when I did what, or who is who.
You can search as well

Tried that, problem is that I get 6-7 new "contacts" per day, so it ends up being to much for it...

Is there anything else you guys can come up with?

Something like a CRM (customer relationship management)? Off the top of my head Act is the one we use here. There is a demo I am sure so you can see if it is any use.

What you need is a better title for this post. ;)

You just caused me to waste a few seconds of my life looking at this post to see what it was about. Then I spent a few minutes from my vacation explaining this to you.

How about this for a title:

I need an appointment system
To better track my meetings and so on.

Furthermore, the people who are apt to have an answer may overlook this post altogether, thereby possibly depriving you of an adequate discussion.

I will download the Act demo and try it out. But from what I seen, it's not really what I’m looking for.

Any more suggestions are welcomed.
