#2, When I drive my car on the street while looking for
a place.
I always see 44...
#3 when I sent email,
the time it happended was always something like #1
this applies to when I talk on IM
#4 I got a ticket for a winter ball. the ticket number
was 044
#5 while I made a call on my cellphone,
Often the duration of the conversation can be 4:44
or 0:44
#6 I went to casino once, I only got 5 dolloars left,
and I bet on 4, and I won 31 times($155)
#7 I told this to my wife, and my wife sees "4" all the time
like what I describe above.
Well, I think it is a lucky number to me.
But It is just a little bit weired to me when it
happends OFTEN.
Did you see this number 4 often?
After reading this post, would you please
feedback if you see this number like me?
Cheers,
Mine certainly doesn't show 66 anywhere near as often as 44 ;)
Apart from that, I'd say it's the fact that when someone notices a 'pattern' to something they will see this 'pattern' even more from that point on.
4 what it's worth, I 4cast a deluge of 4's on this thread. There4 it's not advisable 4 any1 (where did that 1 come from?) who does not like seeing 4's sticking around. Welll, it's 4.14 AM here, time 4 bed.
I can say that when you're already thinking of something subconsciously, you're more likely to notice it in the future. You see so many numbers each day, you might just be in the habit of noticing the 4's.
However, I also believe in two things: that meaning can sometimes be found even in randomness, and that certain things (words, numbers, objects) can hold cosmic significance for you.
The number fifteen pops into my head very often while I'm thinking abstractly, but I'm not sure why.
I don't have a digital clock actually, just a nice big old analog version hanging on the wall. Didn't focus on the part of the post that was the digital clock, anyway.
Again, it's coincidence. Most people see an incredible number of numbers in various combinations in the course of a day. If you decide to zone in on any particular 2 digit combination, you'll see lots of them.
Anyway, good luck with the 4's, man. I like the number, myself, so at least you're stuck with a good one. Beats hell out of 33.

Or lives are filled with signs, some have significance, some do not, most of us ignore them out of embarrassment, we do not want to sound silly to the mental giants that would tell us so. Mine is streetlights going out as I approach or pass them. Ordinary streetlights. I have been plagued with this stupid phenomenon as long as I can remember, driving, walking, it doesn't matter. I know how coincidental this is. I know that halogen and other lights heat up and periodically lose whatever it is that keeps them ablaze until they cool down, then spring to life again. But I cannot shake the nagging possibility there is some significance with the timing and regularity of this event.
It's regular to the point of eerieness, sometimes I can point it out to my wife, "watch that light, it will go out as we pass . . . " and it does. I hit about 1 in 20 like that, often I don't guess them and drive by and they go out, and catch me by surprise.
The logical part of my mind knows this is stupid. It's just coincidence. But there is a part of my mind that still hears . . .
There is more in Heaven and Earth, Horatio, than is dreamt of in your phoilosophy.
And I cannot help but wonder if this is a sign. Of what I haven't been able to connect.
Your story kind remind me something but i can not
tell what exactely it is... well anyway.
Good luck. it is nothing but some message
I suppose it would be something like
"Be a good man."
well as long as it makes that sense to me.
(This implies my gender mate)
God bless.
The chinese particularly dislike the number four and see it as a very bad omen. I'm currently in Malaysia and it's common to see floors 4 and 14 'missed out' in buildings.
I'm afraid that's not entirely accurate. The Chinese do indeed dislike the number 4, but the Malaysia issue is completely different.
It all goes back to the 1400's, where, according to the local folklore, a postman had the job of delivering a letter to Santa Claus (Chris Cringle, Father Christmas, etc). A child from Northern Malaysia had sent it, simply addressed to Santa. Apparently, the postman, being dedicated to his profession, set out to deliver the letter. The legend goes that the postman was never seen again. Ever since then, out of respect of the dedicated postman, certain addresses in Malaysia are not allowed, one example being floors 4 and 14 in buildings, to show that some addresses just do not exist, and, in a cruel twist of fate, has claimed the disappearance of dozens more of Malaysian postmen and women, in search of the addresses that do not exist.
As a note of interest, Cliff, from the US series Cheers, was based on this character, and so you will notice he too is dedicated to his profession of being a postman.
I hope this has enlightened you all.
*cough poor attempt at humour...it's been a long day! *cough
I vaguely remember having the problem before, but I can't for the life of me remember what the exact number was. I think it was 154225, but I can't be sure.

Staring blindly into space
Getting up to splash my face
Wanting just to stay awake
Wondering how much I can take
Should I try to do some more
25 or 6 to 4
Feeling like I ought to sleep
Spinning room is sinking deep
Searching for something to say
Waiting for the break of day

I've got 4 kids (the youngest one is 4 years old) and a 4 door, 4 WD station wagon. My street address is 44 Maple Avenue. I've got only 4 fingers on one hand because I blew one off with a fire cracker when I was 14.
The room I'm in right now has 4 windows and the ceiling fan as 4 blades. There are exactly 4 pieces of paper in front of me and there are 4 speakers in the room. My PC? A quad CPU AMD server.
I wear glasses so my one brother (I have 4 of them) calls me ole' 4 eyes. I've got 4 pairs of underwear on (for extra protection) and a hat on my 4-head. I wrote exactly 4 paragraphs and be-4 I 4-get: You see 4 because you look for 4 - that's all.
You are the man. and good luck for all those!
10:44 pm on July 26, 2006 (utc 0)You see 4 because you look for 4. I was born in April (4th month) on the 4th day. I'm 44 years old and when I saw this post I had to smile to myself. People had been kidding me about this for years.

BillyS and others, enjoy reading all the posts!
I am glad that I am not alone.
BTW:
I just saw the '4' on my KEYBOARD.
And tell me what you get when you press 'shift' and '4'?
- I have VII tattooed on my leg.
- 1-31-02 (January 31, 2002), the worst day of my life so far
- 7 letters in my first name
- Last name's initial is 7th letter of the alphabet
I'll be the first person to tell you it's because I make it a part of my life... and I'm OK with that. I also happen to think it's a beautiful number.
