Huh? How is that thing supposed to tenderize meat? No idea how that could work. Nevertheless great gizmo. Congrats bedlam. Would never have guessed that.

Judging only by the pic (I use a hammer...), the two wide posts are sprung like a rubber stamp...

Saw it on good eats, a food network show, love alton brown.

The bottom comes off, and the pointy things are spring loaded. You stamp it up and down across a likely piece of meat - and it tenderizes it by breaking up the connective tissue.

Thought that was a cool kitchen gizmo.
