Just bought my dream car

After the ending of a long term relationship and a really good first part of the year I decided it was time to make my dream come true.

I bought a Charger SRT8, fully loaded. I know gas is expensive and it is a bit excessive, but nothing compares to hitting the gas and having 425 hemi horses come to life. Unbelievable!

Do not test drive one unless you plan to buy it.

I bought a porsche last year. The problem is when you get supercars you are always looking to upgrade. I would not say I am bored now but one always wants something higer up the food chain. Congrats on the purchase anyway and enjoy your muscle car :)

Enjoy that car!

I just got a "new" car this last week too. It's a 95 Thunderbird Super Coupe - one of only 574 made that year. Supercharged 5 speed, moonroof and it's black! I used to have a black tbird sc pre-kids, & didn't know how much I missed it - thanks to Mr. bunltd for locating this gem

Isn't it fun to have something that is fun to drive?

It is so fun to drive. I find myself topping off the gas at 3/4 just to pull into the gas station and gloat.

I gave that unit serious consideration, but decided a big 4 door sedan didn't fit the image I'm trying to project. :)

"Is ita sign im getting older? "

I am on a porsche board and they recently did a poll on how old people were when they got their first one. Most people in their early 30's. Some 25 year olds had them but it is dad's money or they are a high flyer etc. That is where the percieved mid life crisis comes from but in reality most people do not have the cash until 30's plus.

Go and buy one if you can afford it, you will not regret it.

First, I would have to get my Driver License back!

Perhaps I shall make enough $$$$ next year to get it back!

That charger is definitely nice. I bought the Cadillac CTS-V just under a year ago and absolutely love it. It's the one with the Corvette engine in it.

There really is nothing like hitting the gas when you have 400+ horsepower at your disposal. ;)

I took my 70 year old mother for a ride and she almost did not make 71.

I am very careful and I am a very good driver, my only worry is tickets. You can be sentenced to jail for speeding in a neighboring city near where I live.
