I've been having similar problems with webmasterworld.com: pages can take thirty to sixty seconds to load. But at least this site does actually respond.

One of the Verizon hops has been down near LAX for the past couple of days. Most times it will error out and jump around it, other times it hangs and times out. They don't seem worred about it. I don't think it would affect anyone unless yon were in So California

I'm in Arizona, right next door to Southern California, and I've had some problems with slow responses, but only from specific sites. This one is now responding at its usual speedy pace. Yay!
