What a dope Paul was...classic setup to convince him that "I'm not into money."
"The Associated Press says there's no prenup. Paul says Heather didn't marry him for his money. Let's check back with him after she files."

When they appeared on Larry King's show they seemed to be in total harmony.......I guess the "Mrs." was just playing him?
He certainly fell for it, hook, line, sinker and battered Penguin.
I doubt Paul cares about the money, she can't dig a big hole for him anyways! I'm sure he will be happy to send her away now for $300 million.
Finding out that the person you really care for was just playing you for money will hurt Paul much more than the price tag!
Prove you made an honorable mistake Ms Mills and walk away for nothing!
How wrong of you to think she only wanted him for the money. I'm sure Paul or Heather don't care about the sums involved. They didn't sign anything because, like Springsteen and his ex-wife, they genuinely thought it would last forever. After all, it worked for 30 years between Paul and Linda. Maybe she never signed anything either.
I think it's a sad day for both of them. Hopefully they will get back together again soon.
Clearly we will see once the divorce is finalized. Only will we be able to tell
I wonder whether she would have married him if he was a bricklayer?
Whatever the settlement she will get a ton of cash that she has done nothing to earn.
Remember in the UK divorce for men is the worst in the world. Pre Nup's have no legal standing etc, I know they did not have one, but I know many men now who dare not even consider marriage because of the potential risks.
Now that is a sad state of affairs!
"TomKat's $52M Pre-Nup Agreement"
"...in which a $19 million trust has been set up for Katie and her baby regardless of whether the couple wed, London's Daily Mail claims. But if they do marry and later divorce, Holmes will receive an extra $33.5 million."
Damn, she earns more than all the Vegas strip you-know-what combined...
That would equate to roughly $1.9 million for every week of their short-lived four-year marriage. "

Perhaps he couldnt resist getting his leg-over.....and at his age...getting over one is easier than getting over 2....
Dont think he will worry about the money too much...but his children (other) will though....
"A judge had decided Mrs Miller was entitled to a substantial settlement because she married with "reasonable expectation" of a future wealthy lifestyle."
that's 5mil out of 17.5 mil for 3 year marriage...

Really, that is not the way I saw it, or any of my friends or co-workers who watched that show. (i am referring to the show a couple months back where they were in Canada talking about seals)
Paul almost told her to shut up at one point, you could see the anger in his face when she was yelling at other guests. At work we had a long discussion (as did many Canadians) and we could not believe that of all the woman in the world, McCartney would choose someone who appeared to be a harpee and was unable to have a civil discussion.
He is better off without her, at any cost.

We are referring to the same Larry King interview. It is interesting that Canadians viewed it in a different light. (I'm British, but, live in the USA).
I do now 100% agree that he is "better off without her, at any cost.", but, I didn't see that coming from either of them based upon their public appearances.
It is interesting that [one] Canadian viewed it in a different light. :)
The classic setup: I don't want to get married but if you woo me, twist my arm, I might.
The dead giveway for me is: "Money doesn't matter," (usually after they find that you're doing pretty good) and "I'm different from other women." That's a signal for me to run. I appreciate honesty, and I don't like whatever intelligence I have is insulted.
There are many more who agree with me up here, believe me. Perhaps if you were on the opposite side of the issue than Mills, it would be easier to spot Paul's annoyance when she started to shout and scream, instead of listen and debate.
Paul is a class act, I wish him peace despite disagreeing with him sometimes.
