He was an outspoken economist, and his views juxtapose on the "Tipping Point" themes to give a different - somewhat alarming - view of capitalism.

the brains are out there. Sadly Governements rarely listen to them because they are too quiet.

His death made Mainstream BBC News last night.

As a conservative, I must admit that Galbraith was an honest man.
I respect him as much as anyone I ever agreed with, maybe a bit more. -Larry

He's Obituary was in the Telegraph yesterday, finishing paragraph was a touch cutting.

'He unfortunatly lived to great age, during the last part of which he saw all of his ideas torn to shreds'

Not exact words but general enough to still be accurate.
