What palm/crackberry/cell device is best to surf the Internet?

I'm thinking of joining Verizon for their Broadband Internet via wireless. But one of the most important considerations for me is when I'm roaming the streets and don't have a laptop in front of me I'd like to surf the net, be able to write and view pages the best. Thanks.

The sift keys, are based at the bottom the key board and I find it hard at times to be accurate when pressing it.

Oh and theres no Pound sign on the keyboard, some of teh software bundled with it didnt work and had to down load upgrades.

Minor moans, Im due for an upgrade from my phone supplier in September and I think Ill go for another Blackberry, same model I think.

>>The sift keys

Hey, I could use some of those to help keep the crumbs out of the keyboard. :)

So if you'll stick with it it can't be that bad?

Yeah overall I love 'em.

Easy to use, just a touch bulky

The best cellphone to access the Internet is the one which most efficiently helps
locate a powerful and low-cost desktop computer with a decent connection. -LH

So - I have an XDA Exec. Don't think you can get them stateside, but great in the UK:

PDA/Phone that can also run Skype Mobile.

Bluetooth / Wifi / GPRS / USB & 3G connectivity - it is always ONLINE!

Windows mobile for pocket pc is great for surfing.

Also:
It's a Camera
It's a media player / mp3 player
It's a videophone
It runs office

A word of warning though... you need to install using corporate install (0509 I think) else it keeps crashing.

Nokia Nseries could be a candidate or some PDA can do the deal much better but cost/weight too

Agree with Raymond, the O2 Atom is really good for surfing the internet, small with a high-res screen. The only problem that I (and many other Atom users) have is that it's actually a rubbish phone! I've downloaded the ROM update, still the same. I've set the profile to LOUD but it's still difficult to hear a caller...Shame - I had the XDA before, it's a bit big, but I never had a problem with it until I dropped it into the toilet and then down the stairs.

I remember there was a Nokia model with low ring level too a few years ago

Wow I never heard of any of these. I must be really behind :)

Which phone services in the US do all these work with?
