Is this different than the current iPod which can play videos? What is the screen and memory (Gb) like?

Hi Hester. Yes, it is different. Sounds like the video iPod will have a 'virtual track wheel' (touch screen) with wide screen displays. The hard drive capacity should be around 60GB. I read yesterday that it will be released towards the end of the year only.

I'll be surprised if future iPods don't up the HD size. 60Gb won't be enough for masses of videos (and also MP3s). There's already a 100Gb player on the market, with a much larger screen. I foresee the next generation of iPods having a screen that goes almost the full height (so you'd use it on its side). Any more news, post it here!
