Aren't you supposed to be in court or something...

;)

It's been a long time since I cooked up a pot of beans, but I used to use no more than a tablespoon of baking soda (or was that baking powder?) when cooking the pot (of beans). That significantly reduced the social factors associated with a steaming bowl of beans with rice.

I can recall the days when a 10 meg hard drive was considered big, nearly way to big for the average user.

Had a full head of hair then too.

Don't know about your old-fashioned drives, but the modern drives tend to break down when hairs get in their heads.

All I know is that a hard drive is much nicer than a 3 1/2" floppy.

As soon as I saw post #3, I knew this could be trouble. :)

Whatever you post, don't make me have to delete the thread.

Not when you're on a crowded bus though.

The first PC I used at work didn't have a hard drive. You loaded two 5 1/4" floppy disks (360k and they really were floppy). One to store your information, the other had DOS on it.

I used to be a scientist (long story) and we had to retrieve information we thought was on these 8" floppy disks, cost a fortune to get nothing.

I still have a few 8" disks. I put them in a frame and hung them on a wall.

Also have a couple of 5 1/4 drives laying around.
