This week marks the end of winter here in Minneapolis.

Less than three weeks ago, we had two feet of snow on the ground and the lakes were still frozen.

The ice went off the lakes last Tuesday and this Monday we will have temps in the 70's.

I spotted my first mosquito, and geese are pooping in my yard.

Ah . . .spring time in Minnesota

The plum tree is covered with blossoms, seemingly overnight.
The lemon tree is heavy with fruit.
The air smells good and April 15th is nigh upon us. -LH

I saw snow on the mountains at the end of the valley for the first time this year today. I guess that winter is coming.

(My lemon is always covered in fruit, summer and winter)

Hi,

The south of England has the normal "can't quite make up its mind" mixture of lovely sunshine, cool breeze, rain and snow today...

But this is Spring springing, if not quite yet sprung.

We're looking foward to letting our baby daughter discover the garden as things warm up...

>>>two feet of snow on the ground

I live in Canada and I can't remember the last time I saw 2 feet of snow on the ground, I know for sure it did not happen this winter.

I had to buy my first antihistamines last Friday. That marks the beginning of Spring for me.

It was 87F here in Florida today.

Winter, well we never see that! Spring used to happen for a few weeks, but has gone missing in the last few years!

We now seem to go from Fall to Summer. One minute the trees are full of old growth, the next minute they are full of young growth and only a windy day allows fall to happen in March/April.

I love Spring and Fall....where have they gone. In NE Florida now all we have is 2 weeks of Winter and 50 weeks of Summer?

Spring is trying REALLY hard to get sproinged in Erie. It has been mid 50s to 70s the past few days. Of course, the nice days never occur on say a weekend so that I could paint!
