What happened to spring?

Near glasgow (Scotland) currently have about 7 inches of snow and still falling!

Whats with the freakish weather, past 2 years have had little or no snow, looks to be making up for it now.

Is Dogboy in the house, might need to look into alternative transport for the next couple of days.

I just had the heater on the other day - today I have to run the A/C!

Snow seams to be off now, but had to be pretty close to a foot currently. With night approaching looks like this lot will freeze up.

A few hrs ago I was sitting at the pc and heard a huge crack, looked out the window to see a tree lying across the road, the sheer weight if snow seams to have brought it down.

And it snowed in Vegas yesterday. We get snow, at the most, once a year...and it's always in late December or early January. Granted, it wasn't much snow (didn't stick at all), but still, ack, SNOW in mid-March.

They're terrible in the snow, actually, with a tendency to spin out on the highway because the wheel-base is short compared to the width. Where I live in Canada, we have much snow, and I've seen them in the ditch a few times. Your best bet is a Cherokee or Landrover if there's only 7 in's (that's not a lot for some parts of the world). Of course, you could just wait until it melts, since you're in Scotland ;-)

Very beautiful this weekend. I don't really know the weather report for Monday, but I think Spring will come early.

Snow in Vegas? Wow, I hope Vegas gets its act together by May. I am going to Vegas for my birthday. I want to be able to hang out at the pool at Mandalay Bay. Yippeeee!

When will Spring come?

Last week was sooo nice... hovering around freezing, some sunshine, snow was starting to melt.

This morning, back to -16 degrees Celcius with a windchill of -23... fabulous... everything that melted appears to have frozen into a nice thick sheet of ice on my windshield.

My fault for moving from balmy Southern Ontario to Winnipeg I guess!

Erie is warm (68 in March!) and rainy. Tomorrow the temps are supposed to drop by 40 degrees. Just lovely.

Spring has arrived in the midwest US, and spring here means vicious thunderstorms and tornados. We had 14 tornados reported in my area on Sunday, with many more around the surrounding states. I believe we had 13 tornados total for our surrounding area for all of last year. Looks like this spring will be a nasty one. I think I'd like the cold and snow back.

Yikes. We get a couple tornados now and then here in the Prairies, but very rarely here in the city.

I don't think I could live in a tornado-prone area... my nerves would be shot.

Never saw any twisters while in the MidWest (thankfully) but saw the most amazing thunderstorms, eg at night with so much lightning that you could see in colour...

No snow news here .... last time it snowed in Sydney was possibly the last ice age ..... 25C today ... the beach looks good!
