How to get listed on European Engines

Can I get a .com listed on a .de engine such as Google?

I am new to this forum and have some fairly basic questions. We have a U.S. based .com site ranking well in Google. How to we get listed in search engines in Germany for example (google.de)?

Do we need a whole new german domain with .de or can we get our .com listed? We have PPC's theat come up globally. It would just be nice to have our client's see us more pronounced in Germany for starters...

Any ideas where I can begin?
