Google opens Scandinavian sales office

Johan Kinnander, previous E-Spotting CEO in Sweden has been recruited by Google. Kinnander said to Swedish media news portal "Dagens Media" that Google has plans to open up smaller regional sales offices also in Norway and Denmark. I have not heard anything about plans for Finland.

Does anyone know more about this?

Johan Kinnander is not news anymore. On October 8 the Danish Assiciation for Internet Trade held a seminar featuring him as well as AdWords Associate, Jens Olesen.

Claus, I attended the seminar and it was "the usual" thing. Good if you don't know much about Adwords, a little boring if you do :)

I know Johan very well from his Espotting days and I can confirm he is the new sales director at Google Scandinavia. However Johan had a lot of stuff to do on his first day on the job, so I only got to say hi to him.

I had the pleasure of talking to Jens, which seemed very well into Adwords in deed. Good guy all around. I learned a bit about what they offer agencies and bigger spenders.. oh, and we did pick up a few of those darn nice vouchers as well :)

All in all a good afternone and refreshing that they finally concentrate on the Scandinavian market! If anyone has any questions regarding this, let me know or post them here and I'm sure we'll get an answer.
