Overture FIN / SWE

Overture now in Finland and Sweden

Overture has started its PPC operations in Finland and Sweden. Their Nordic partners are:

Sweden: Spray/Lycos, MSN, Alltheweb, Altavista
Finland: MSN, Altavista and Alltheweb

Super! I am glad to see that they got Lycos in Sweden. Hopefully they can extend that deal to Denmark too so we can get rid of eSpotting :)

So, out goes Yahoo, in comes Overture...

MSN is good, Spray/Lycos: okay, AV and ATW is a joke trafficwise. Doesn't sound like Google should get scared?

oh yes, there are plenty of reasons for Google to be scared :)

Now Google is going to compete with Overture in getting more distribution. As Overture generally have higher CPC's and now that (mother) Yahoo is not in the region it's going to be a tuff fight. Good for us.

However, with Google and Overture pushing for more distribution in the region I think it will be very difficult for any other PPC-service ...
