European Search statistics

Looking for current data and predictions

I'm looking for some up-to-date details on European search statistics and possible future predictions of the search market in Europe.

Attached is a string with some great info, but it's too out of date [2001]: [webmasterworld.com...]

It's actually hard to believe, but the web with all it's data craziness is still a place with very few hard numbers on some of the most important metrics.

You can of course look up the current Nielsen figures, but as we all know they are rather worthless for any serious webpromotion planning.

We have some important European areas recently covered:

Scandinavian Countries:

Netherlands:

Next country we will take a look at is France, so stay tuned.

5 - AOL 4.77 % (-0.02)
6 - Lycos 1.28 % (-0.27)
7 - Nomade 0.90 % (+0.03)
8 - Altavista 0.88 % (+0.03)
9 - Francité 0.67 % (-0.19)
10 - All The Web 0.48 % (-0.04)
11 - Netscape 0.42 % (0)
12 - Excite 0.06 % (0)
13 - Euroseek 0.01 % (0)
14 - Hotbot 0.01 % (0)
15 - Looksmart 0.01 % (0)
