Hi,

I'm doing some research into the current leading search engines (most used) in Germany, France and Italy. Of course I'm interested in peoples own opinions, but also some links to up-to-date stats from a reliable sources would also be good!

Also, for the same countries which SE paid-per-clicks scheme would give the best coverage?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Darren

Hi dazza_smith, welcome to WebmasterWorld.

First off have a look at the country threads:

German Search Engines [webmasterworld.com]

France [webmasterworld.com]

Italy [webmasterworld.com]

Pay for play in Europe [webmasterworld.com]

Some of these threads are a bit old and the landscape changes faster than we can start new threads, so I'd like to point you to the Site Search [webmasterworld.com] on top of every page. It should give you answers to the rest of your questions.

Finally post your questions back here again if you need additional information.

Again, welcome :)

Thanks for the warm welcome and prompt reply.

I checked the links you gave me and they were interesting, but too old to be of much use. I guess i'm after more current stats such as this www.revue-referencement.com for France.

thanks

Darren

Hi Darren, welcome to the board!

Those figures for France look about right to me, meet what we have been reported before.

For Germany you might see this fresh thread, giving real life German search traffic figures [webmasterworld.com].

For Italy I have started a thread:
[webmasterworld.com...]
Lets see what our members can come up with.
