how accurate is the search suggestion tool

I have been trying to use the Overture Suggestion tool in Germany
[secure.overture.com...]

however I am amazed at the low inventory its showing (month of june) for a number of keywords.

am I right in assuming that they have not got the biggest partners on board, or is it something else.

what alerted me to the low inventory, was stats from Google sponsored listings (specific to Germany) which on same keywords were 10 times higher than Overture.de

Shakil, the OV tool for Germany is good - for suggestions of kw combos, for a rough idea on what in group of synonyms are the most common terms etc.
It's not a good tool for absolute numbers. While OV has good reach through partners, their db is still rather lightweighted and only built from data from a couple of months.

The Google tool however I find very very weak in giving numbers for combos and more exotic terms.

I agree about the google tool, however my impression count comes from my account manager at Google sales who can really drill down search inventory across the globe and specific country targeting.
