...and the paid inclusion game...

ok, so i was dumb enough to buy an infospider/AV PFI for a domain - just one page - to see what would happen. i wanted that page to show up in france though (just a test, probably not worth it, i know) so they ALSO make you pay for "additional country-specific index inclusion". ie. you pay for the initial submission, then you pay AGAIN for other countries. i wanted to be in both belgium and france, so i ended up effectively paying 3x for 1 URL.

the futility of that effort is in many ways another debate, but here's my concern:

its been almost a week, and i still havent even seen the damn Scooter spider roll through. the infospider "test" spider came in (almost immediately), but no Scooter-proper and my URL is still nowhere to be found.

now, i've paid about $80 for this URL. where's the spider? has anyone else used this so-called "service" before, and have you at-least been included eventually? what's the timeframe? and does inclusion in the "additional indexes" (blah) take even longer?

thanks in advance for any insight. i'll update if/when i see some action.

I have experienced the same thing. Don't wory the spider will show up but forget everything about express. It can take a couple of weeks.
