We have a German language site ( a .de dominion) that had this statistic till June included.

Usage by country ( % )

giu-02

33.15 - Network
24.30 - Germany
18.93 - Unresolved
9.32 - US Commercial
8.12 - Austria
3.27 - Switzerland
1.39 - Italy
1.52 - Others

In July there is a sensible increase from Switzerland that compensate a sensible decrease from Austria.

Unique users per day are about the same.

Are Austrian on holidays?
Do you have any news about Swiss search Engines?

Generally I'm seeing lower traffic from all European search engines in June and July, which is related to summer hollidays.

I'm not sure about the Austrian holliday season but I know that it is custom in northern Europe take to 3 weeks summer holliday arround July.

I actually think that Germans have 6-7 weeks of holliday each year.

In Denmark we only have 5 weeks :(

As a swiss myself all I can tell you is that my train is still crowded, so not too many people are on vacation at the moment. As far as I know, school holydays started this week for most of Switzerland.

Don't know anything about Austria though.

And as far as I know nothing changed with the major swiss SEs in the last couple of months.

And btw, I have only 4 weeks...

Oh yes, itīs incredible, but remember: in the USA and Japan the working people only have around 1 or max. 2 weeks.

Itīs not right, that in Germany all people have 6-7 weeks. Some have, some not.
Between 5 and 6 weeks is the normal case. Less is seldom, and more is seldom, too.
