i signed up for overture germany when it launched after having much success with the US/UK versions....

does anyone get much traffic through this for non adult sites ?

we get about 1 or 2 visits a day and are the top & in fact only bidders for our keywords...

what engines do their results show up on ?

Overture DE works for us (for german content), about 200 Visitors a day for multiple german sites.

However, with non-german listings, I think you wont get far. Overture DE listings are spread widely, but on a german portal or search engine, people have a tendency to expect national search results. Which makes sense, doesnīt it? Itīs always more comfortable to read something in your own language, I guess.

If you are serious about the german market, thereīs no way around a german website, in my opinion.

Overture in Germany:
T-online (one of the best/the best visited site in Europe)
AOL.de
Altavista.de
Excite.de
Freenet.de
Dino-online.de

That's good exposure. What sudden says anyhow is very true for almost all sites: german title, desc. and responding page are a must.

Alternatively/additionally try Espotting.de, gives you Lycos.de, Fireball.de, Web.de...and Yahoo.de!
