Euroseek's back online... and powered by Google.

(Apparently "keyword advertising" is coming soon.)

That is all.

Hello - here we go again!

Euroseek back online that's nice!

The way Google is implemented resembles Earthlink - sponsored links on top.

This does of course not say anything about the future of Euroseek. A search engine operated by a SEO/web marketing company does not necessarily default to focus on unbiased serps.

Oh well, another one to the Google family.
A bit sad they couldn't make on their own - why use it when you have a toolbar handy that does the same job?

>>A search engine operated by a SEO/web marketing company

US based online advertising firm WeDirect, Inc. WeDirect seeks to return euroseek to the most popular European Search Portal.

www.euroseek.com/press.htm

Please have a look on how this company works. Very interesting!

The engine has been away for some time now. I don't know if it will really rise again.

Showing Google Adwords Select on top like Altavista. Interesting. Wonder if they will continue that after their own program is in place.

OK - what is it about Google that everyone has an issue with ? Are their web reults not pulled from content -vs- meta's ?

Possibly a misunderstanding here roguebiker - I can't see anybody in this thread having an issue with Google.
Infact this thread is about Euroseek.

Hi,

Google was chosen since they have the best search results. Euroseek will be adding an add url page for the directory. This should be up in the next few weeks. Once the directory is large enough it will go live. We anticipate a few months at most. Euroseek is currently crawling the old euroseek directory. If anyone has any questions or comments please let me know.

Thanks,

Doug Ridley
